Juliane Winkelmann
Biography
Juliane is a Technical Officer based at the Observatory’s Secretariat in Brussels since 2022. Before she was a member of the Observatory’s Berlin hub, based at the Berlin University of Technology.
Her work focuses on health workforce, dental care, long-term care, skill mix and integrated care. Juliane is an author and editor of Health System Reviews (HiTs), policy briefs and Observatory studies. She supports the State of Health in the EU programme and the Health Systems in Action Insights, and covers health system and policy developments in Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, North Macedonia and Switzerland.
Juliane holds a PhD in Public Health from the Berlin University of Technology.
